This site is the home for David Hume’s coaching in Auburn, Alabama. If you’re new here, three things are worth knowing.
Who David is
David is the retired Director of Tennis for the City of Auburn. He was on the Parks and Recreation tennis staff at the Samford Avenue courts in 2001, when the City first unveiled its plan for a clay-court complex on the Yarbrough land, and he was the Head Pro at the Yarbrough Tennis Center from the day it opened in July 2007. He has been teaching for more than 30 years.
How lessons work
David teaches privately at Yarbrough — juniors and adults, beginner through advanced. Lessons are booked through the Yarbrough Tennis Center front desk at (334) 501-2920, not directly with David. Courts are open daily from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.
